& Domestic Rules
Objects of The Club:
To promote the welfare of Beagles
To provide advice on Beagle training and management
To promote the Breeding of Beagles for Exhibition and Sporting
purposes according to the Breed Standard
Social activities, such as picnics, fun matches and other outings
as may be decided by members
"Z" rules in their entirety as published by the Canine
Association of Western Australia.
The Club is affiliated with and is bound by the Constitution and Rules of the
CAWA (Inc) and accepts the Canine Association's Basic Constitution for
Affiliated Clubs. Any additional Domestic Rules shall be subordinate to those of
the Canine Association of Western Australia.
Committee to comprise of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer
and eight (8) ordinary members.
Executive and four (4) ordinary members of committee to retire annually.
Ordinary committee members to be elected for a two (2) year term.
Office Bearers shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting.
Only Financial members of at least three (3) months prior to the end of
the financial year are eligible to be nominated for any position on

Nominations for Office Bearers to be submitted in writing and received by
the Returning officer prior to the commencement of the AGM.
Should insufficient nominations for committee be received at the AGM,
vacancies may be filled from members present, provided such members are
currently financial and have been financial for at least three (3) months
prior to the end of the financial year. Should this procedure fail,
vacancies shall be filled by the committee at the first meeting following
Chairperson to have casting vote, if required, as well as deliberative
vote at all meetings.
Membership to be open to all owners of Pedigree Beagles and
Associate membership to those Beagle lovers who do not own a beagle.
All applications for membership shall be in writing on
prescribed form. Such applications shall be considered by committee,
which shall have absolute power in respect of the admission of members.
Life Membership may be conferred upon a member for
outstanding service to the Club. Nominations to be in the form of a
motion, duly voted upon at a properly convened AGM and passed by a two
thirds majority of members present.
Only Members that are financial as at Closing Date for entries of the Show
will be eligible to compete for Perpetual Trophies.
Alterations To Domestic Rules:
No alteration, addition or amendment to these Rules shall be made except at a
General Meeting of which due notice of intention has been given.
